This isn’t so much about what I can do, but more about who I can be. During the span of my professional career thus far, I have taken on supervisory and managerial responsibilities to ensure quality production and satisfied teams.

Manager and Planner

Planned and coordinated staff activities to meet multiple project deadlines. Managed team in United States for lead office in United Kingdom.

As manager, planned and organized team functions in Illinois and Arizona plus vendor activities in Washington.

Implemented new tools and procedures to foster collaboration between departments and improve response to market requests for product features.

Innovator and Liaison

Collaborated with the IT team to make software deliverables available via the corporate Intranet. Developers compiled code and created a mirror image on a secure server that my team linked to the department web site. Each software release was also matched to its unique supporting release notes and documentation.

Implemented first Beta evaluations used at employer to collect customer feedback as well as hardware and software bug reports. Customers were very pleased to be part of the feature development, and I received 100 percent return rate (up to three evaluations at about ten customers).

Created multi-site user forum to collect product bug reports, feature requests, and conduct collaborative tasks.

Quality and Process

Set deadline and quality milestones for each task of the product development process. Used a issue resolution database to determine product upgrade features.

Defined and mapped processes for ISO 9001:2000 audit.

Outlined realistic expectations for new procedures and management activities.
